Paying for work on Learnexus is simple. The rate you agree to with an expert is the rate you pay. There are no additional fees paid to Learnexus.
How Payments Work
Step 1: Approve time cards or deliverables from experts
If you have an Hourly project:
Experts will submit weekly time cards for you to review and approve. When you approve the time card, we pay the expert.
You can set a weekly limit on billable hours and a maximum total budget for the project.
You can dispute the payment as needed.
If you have a Fixed-Price project:
Experts will submit deliverables per the engagement agreement for your review. When you approve the deliverable, we pay the expert.
You can dispute the payment as needed.
Step 2: Pay monthly invoice from Learnexus
By default, we'll email you an invoice with a link to pay via Stripe on the 4th of every month for the work you approved the prior month.
You can also set up autopay by adding a credit card. If you add a credit card, you will be auto-charged on the invoice due date.

It's free to post a job, review proposals, and message experts. You won't be charged until it's time to pay your expert for work you approved.
